I would put a Lien on the house and send bill with late fees untill they pay. once they have a Lien they will think about it.

You can put a lien on the house. I know this is not fun to do, but they won’t be able to refinance get any loans or sell the house until you are paid first.

What they need to start doing is tell the customer to pay half of the amount and if they like what they are seeing. Then to fenish the job then pay the rest. So they can get paid for the job they did.
