This is a very common mistake that I see people making when they do Guasha... And even so-called “Guasha experts” do this completely wrong. What is it? They all overextend their neck! Doing that just creates additional tension in your neck muscles which prevents a good lymphatic flow to and from your face. Basically you want to drain your face with Guasha but because of the tension in your neck you’re actually not able to do that properly so the fluid can’t fully leave your face. Always make sure that your back of the neck is long and don’t overextend your head that we usually do when we lean towards the mirror. This videos shows a small part of the chest and neck massage that you can do. With Guasha you can do strokes both ways, but pay special attention to the strokes down to help the lymph leave your face.
