So apparently, I’ve been making my rosewater wrong this whole time. What I have been making in the past is Rose tea not rose water. Rosewater is a hydrosol, which is a distillation process. It is much more concentrated and has way more benefits than just boiling it on the stove, straining it out and calling it rosewater. This also lasts much longer than just boiling it on the stove since it’s distilled it can last much longer. I used 2 cups of dried, rose, petals and 8 cups of water and put a glass bowl in the center. I think it works better if you use a pot in the center, but I didn’t have one without a handle. Either way I made hydrosol somehow which I’m really excited about. I was really impatient and wanted it to hurry up so I took it off the stove after 30 minutes, but if I had left it on a lot longer, it would’ve collected much more hydrosol. I’m also not sure if I needed that big of a pot to begin with. Any professional professionals on this I would appreciate your input. I made this into my favorite toner which has five drops of frankincense oil, five drops of clove oil and 10 drops of castor oil shake it up and spray. You do not have to use it like this you can leave it the way it is, but I absolutely love this toner🤗💗The essential oil oils and castor oil is by @GuruNanda LLC .
