@franniesfight: FRANNIE UPDATE!!!! If you didn’t catch it on Frannie’s last weigh-in, she has officially lost over 50 pounds (23kgs)!! Frannie was rescued by @rovers_retreat in December at 125 pounds (57kg) and over the last 8 months has been working on losing the weight and regaining her mobility. She weighed in at 74.6 pounds (33.8kg) the other day which officially marked her losing 50 pounds. She is a completely different dog and we do not even recognize her in her old videos!! We couldn’t be here without all of your support and encouragement!! Thanks to you guys we have been able to give her the best veterinary care, therapies, nutrition, and rehab a girl could dream of. We cannot thank you guys enough for all the love we have received!!! We get a lot of comments about what her goal weight is, which we don’t have a solid answer for. We are more concerned with her achieving a healthy body condition which is assessed by multiple things like how easy it is to feel her ribs, if she has a waist or a tuck, and her age/ mobility issues. At her next veterinary visit we will be assessing her body condition and can get a better idea of a goal weight based on that! The good news is that she is so very close to reaching those marks and we couldn’t be happier for her!!! #franniesfight #fightlikefrannie #fyp #foryoupage #dogsoftiktok #dogs #goldenretriever #goldenretrieverlife #dogrescue #rescuedog #rescueanimals #animalrescue #obesity #weightloss #animalsoftiktok #PetsOfTikTok
