Ya know, I think every sport has their GOAT (golf -Tiger woods, hockey -Wayne Gretzky, football -Tom Brady, basketball -Michael Jordan, futbol -Messi, tennis -Djokovic, racing -Lewis Hamilton, boxing Tyson/Mayweather) every single one of those people transcends their sport and dominates at a level that goes beyond the sport. I can respect all athletes. But I don’t think any of those people I mentioned really CREATED their sport like Mullen did ya know? It’s insane just how many tricks he created. He literally laid the foundation for skateboarding and also performed at a level that was so beyond what everyone else was doing. Truly the GOAT of skateboarding

I met him and Chet Thomas and Chad Fernandez at a signing one time. Got chads signature but the rest of the team is leaving through the back..that won’t do! I proceed to skateboard through the mall at haul ball speeds and reach their truck before it left and got to shake Rodney’s hand and get a signature and told him how much I love to watch him skate and how much he teaches everyone! He said show me and I got to do a Casper flip in front of him and a finger flip
