This is so damaging. There are lots of wonderful step parents and we never hear anything positive. I love my two step daughters, now grown and still see them all the time

I feel bad for anyone that experienced this. My stepdad was amazing. Like filled in the gaps that my birth parents had. I feel so lucky that I had 3 good parents

As a step parent I criticise & question myself ALOT. Am I doing enough for them? Could I do things better? Am I listening to them am I approachable etc. it’s hard work but I love them.
