I believed this reflected a broader issue with the chain. However, after receiving mixed feedback—75% of commenters praised Aldi, while 25% shared my concerns—I decided to give another Aldi location a try. I visited a different store and was genuinely surprised by how clean, organized, and well-maintained it was. The prices were significantly lower than other grocery stores, and the quality was great. This made me realize the issues I saw before were likely due to staffing shortages, which many businesses are struggling with today. Now, I shop almost exclusively at Aldi and think it's a fantastic option if you have one nearby. My advice to Aldi is to ensure enough staff to maintain all stores consistently. My daughter worked at an Aldi for a week and quit. They expected her to be a cashier, stock shelves, unload trucks, and do inventory. That was her daily duties. How can 1 person do all that at once.

Sure, they cut prices. BUT they also reduced sizes so yes, a bag tortilla chips went down 20 cents but so did the size. Coffee is still DOUBLE. Still a value, but don’t let them fool you

I have four ALDIs in my area. All are clean. Occasionally they are unpacking boxes. Prices have dropped. One that I will not buy fruit from as it rots fast and I think that’s the area. LOVE Aldi.

Aldi is not the typical grocery store, they expect a lot from their employees. I have known a few people that work at our local Aldi and managers make the difference in how well the store performs.
