I remember sitting with my usual friend group at lunch (in hs)—we took up a whole table, and I normally sat at the end with most of the guys. There was this one particularly insane convo where a guy became part of a “joke” talking about the violent gang r*pe of his stepsister by contributing the idea of disposing of her body in a dumpster fire. Because he “didn’t care” and “hated her”. I’ll never forget that. Took my breath away. Cannot even imagine how much worse it is when we’re out of earshot.
