To have entered this stage in such a distant land to sing in a live show 'S A V A GE DAUGHTERS' (one week after the release of my song), which talks about beings who dare to dream, was without a doubt a feeling that I still can't put into words… As I write this, a film plays in my head. I thank all the mothers and women who brought us here. For all the old women, the elderly, the little girls and the reckless young women. For doing the possible. For believing in us. For the "strange habit of faith in life". For the coffee they give us in the morning, packed with an advice that we only understand decades later. For getting us back on our feet, for cleaning our bodies when theirs were in tears. For all those who so often gave much more than they received. For those who hurt me, because they were pruned, silenced and volated. To all of them - I bow. For their strength, beauty, imperfection, divinity, mistakes and triumphs. For everything they are. For daring to be who they are in historical conditions that I could never understand. For being as free as they could. I thank my mother as l'm stepping onto this stage. She who came from the Northeast, working on two jobs to raise two children alone, and breaking all the chains she could - was the one who taught me to dream. thanks also to my friends @solamaylove and @charliemccleanmusic for writing this song with me.
