there was an irl lord of the flies situation with some boys back in the 60’s i believe. they were trying to flee their school but crashed and immediately established leaders and roles :3

I read "Humanity: a hopeful history" which discussed a lot of these experiments and poked holes in their methodology. Also there's an irl equivalent of lord of the flies and the kids just cooperated
