Yall keep saying Itachi talked him out of it, but 1: he killed 4/6 pains without any knowledge of how they worked, then actually did figure it out, 2: itachi was sick and dying at this point. He had been sick for a while. I think J could have taken the 2 of them and died along with them, like Itachi said.
