They have benefits, some dogs get happy tail, or have tail problems. For cropping, some dogs can get ear infections and therefore will need to get cropped, or if it’s a working dog they crop them so

We had to do that with my dog because his tail was really long and he would wag it and then break it on things and it would bleed all over and it was super painful for him
