not when you're close quarters. the shield bounces back quick so you hardly have space to shoot. best way to do so is if you have another shield, soon as their shield hits yours, throw yours.

How to also counter the shield: when the enemy is throwing the shield, use ur opportunity to shoot them while its thrown and when they get their shield back either be fast and shifty with ur movement
