@wandertears: Aluminum installation for your teardrop camper (Save this post for future reference!) We love using aluminum for our builds for a few reasons: 1. It holds up well in all elements with little upkeep 2. It looks great and helps reflect the sun to keep the interior cooler 3. It is fairly easy to install When placing the aluminum sheets on your camper, it is SUPER helpful to have an extra set of hands. To install, use a flexible RV sealant around all edges, including the doors and any wires to "float" the sheets. Aluminum expands and retract with temperature changes so adding screws to the aluminum could cause it to buckle. You can add a couple of brad-nails on the roof to keep the sheet from sliding, then use tape and clamps to hold it in place while the RV sealant dries and you install the trim.
