You didn’t use the elf balm correctly.. you skipped emulsifying.. once you rub in it you have to ADD water and continue to rub it in.. THEN you rinse it off completely with water.. you didn’t do any of that.. that’s why the next product probably burned

If any makeup product comes with the white lid that you threw away, YOU MUST KEEP IT, it’s keeps the product fresh, throwing it away will make the product dry out significantly faster

I have the elf one and I SWEAR by it. Literally the only thing that takes off my heavy duty waterproof eyeliner, I can literally RUB my eyes with it and it never stings. Holy grail product!!
