@lollxxyy: Fish tank TV: Part 4🐠 it’s officially fishy time!!! thankyou so much for all the love and support we’ve received xx it’s seriously means so much. to answer a few questions that some of you may have…. - Tank Cycling🪸 although cycling a new tank can take up to a month or so… the beneficial bacterial treatments we added + the heater sped up the process!! we also got the water tested at a local aquarium before adding fish to make sure all the levels were safe😊 - Fish🐟 we’ve started with 6 fish + 1 snail… all of the fish we have gotten/ plan to get are community tropical fish + we’ve made sure to research them thoroughly to ensure they’re suited to one another!! most of the fish will grow to a max size of 5cm each, and we’ve made sure to factor that in to how many we get😊 - Cleaning🧽 we’ve done a practice clean before we added the fish so that we’re familiar and comfortable with cleaning the tank regularly!! we’ve got a special hose that can suck up all the bits without distressing the fishies😊 - any other questions please feel free to ask!!❤️❤️ lots of love from myself, my family, barney🐶 & the fishies🐠 #fyp #DIY #diyproject
This is super cute but just as an fyi (fish fanatic who worked at a fish store) the cloudyness of the water implies it probably hasn’t actually fully cycled so please kee testing and changing as

The Pygmi Corys must be in groups, minimum 6. They are highly social within their subspecies and stress and get depressed without each other. The good thing is they stay very small.

My only critique would be to remove the mirror. Some fish may think that’s more space and some will run into it multiple times! It’s super cute tho and I love your choices for fish babies😁❤️❤️

It is not possible for a tank to cycle that fast you will need to do water changes and testing every day you also have several schooling fish that need groups of 6 or more it makes them depressed to

The water does look cloudy, you should get the API freshwater master test kit. It will let you know the ammonia, nitrite and nitrate levels.

It’s cute! Your tank will actually cycle over the next month or so. Definitely keep schooling size and full grown fish size in mind when getting fish. Adding so many at one time will likely shock

Typically for new thanks it should cycle for at least more then 3 weeks unless you have a use filter from another tank but from the looks of it you don’t because the water is cloudy

Not hate but I’m just worried was the tank ready with water for a least a month before putting the snail in because if it was not a least a month the snail would not have alge to eat and will starve!!
