this post has some important information about @OLIVE YOUNG US since they just opened up the first oliveyoung store in america in pasadena and my honest thoughts on it as well as a frequent oliveyoung customer! i’ve said this already but im honestly extremely disappointed and i think ill be taking my business to other sites such as yesstyle or stylekorean. the amount of products available on the us site isn’t even half of what’s available on the global site, not to mention brands such as nyx and maybelline taking up space when the average american can visit any drugstore to purchase those products! the whole appeal of oliveyoung was getting products that weren’t easily accessible or popular in the united states but that has now been taken away from us. the lack of sales and promotions such as collabs and 1+1 sets is also extremely frustrating, but i think one of the things that is frusterating me the most aside from the lack of options is the membership changes! on the global website you only need to spend $300 to reach the highest gold olive level membership and get the best discounts but on the us site you have to spend $600! i truly think this change is ridiculous, especially considering the prices are already higher on the us site. overall i truly hope that they will listen to us consumers and give us access to the global site again! @OLIVE YOUNG Global #kbeauty #oliveyoung #oliveyoungglobal #koreanskincare #koreanmakeup
