Never had one and never will. I’m 48! I would have thermography tho. I refuse the humiliation and being crushed between 2 plates when I can hardly fit my wee girls in there!

Some women like myself had no lumps or any indication of BC. It was only through a mam that I found out I had BC in 3 areas of my B. A mam SAVED MY LIFE! Please be more sensitive and knowledgeable☮️

I had a nerve test done for carpal tunnel, and the nurse asked me if I had my flu shot and mammogram. She looked at me in DISGUST when I told her no to either 😆

As a survivor- I have to err on the side of caution and say please don’t discourage mammograms. You can still support thermography but if not for my mammograms- I’d be dead today.

I feel the same about a pap smear! Shredding the cervix 1x a year causing an open wound & scar tissue is so unnecessary damaging

Does insurance cover a thermography scan? I am high risk and asked directly for an ultrasound or cat scan but insurance denied due to needing a mammogram first. I hate insurance companies.

I worked on CTLM (laser mammo) trial. It was equal in diagnostic value to mammograms. No discomfort, no radiation. Never made it past approval. Got shelved somewhere.
