@desoleghag: Posting this again because the sound was taken down and its too precious to not be posted again :/ Mama Janan from Ghazni. Many of you are familiar with him already but I couldn’t help myself, I had to post it too. Mama janan is talented in so many ways, he can sing but also play the flute beautifully. He has the tongue and mind of a poet and according to that, a heart broken in pieces. I watched some reportages with him just the other day again and came across this short poem, which he recited with his sorrow filled yet so meaningful voice. Mama janan lost two of his three sons in the war. There is a moment, where he says: “people slaughter animals on Eid-e-Qurban but on Eid-e-Qurban two of my sons were slaughtered in war”💔 in the poem of the video, you can see him talk about flowers and tulips that wilted and a crow that is left all alone. This can be interpreted in different ways but when I heard of his story, I automatically connected his two martyred sons as the flower and the tulip that withered and Mama Janan the lonely crow. Heartbreaking. He is not the only one with a fate like that. So many parents have lost their children due to war and live life every day with a shattered heart. He is all alone and is fighting his pain on his own in different ways and most importantly with the help of Allah ﷻ May Allah ﷻ make it easy on every single human on this earth that is fighting a broken heart and may He forgive all the people that have left this temporary world.
