Basic fare is the same on Air Canada and United too. Flights have to be taken is sequence so if you don’t take the outbound the return cancels. Also basic fare with United you don’t get a carryon

Flew Air Canada to Greece and the difference is night and day. Air Canada has seriously upped their game lately. Food was better, service was better, free drinks all flight.

What happened back when I flew in 2008 west jet was the best. We avoided air Canada at the time because they didn’t have JETS. All they had was airplanes with regular engines and propellers. Air Canada has jets now but are they better than west jet?

the assumption is that when you don't show up for your first flight, you aren't going to show up for the return- they can sell it to someone else who will show up. I think that's fair game.🤷🏻♀️
