It’s because it’s a entry level job requires no qualifications anyone can get it. It wouldn’t be the same for trades / apprentices / things that require some sort of schooling

I Havnt had a legit job/worked for someone else in about 6 years. I handed out probably at least 1k resumes over the years and I'd never bother doing that again.
