I find this funny, cause if your a vtuber, aren’t you using said camera on a program I.e vseeface/vnyan/etc? How would this turn something on when you’re already using it?

software dev here, no need to panic. whenever any site your browsing wants to access your camera your browser will ask for permission first. always, no matter the site. the only exception.. 1/2

I think it can’t happen to me ‘cause i use my cam for the vtuber studio and when that happen it blocks the cam for anything else so i don’t get how it turn on for some people. Be safe people.

technically it only activates on the person that uses the knock knock features not the streamers one

even in the notes about the feature it says when you join it starts as an audio call and you have to choose to turn on cam!! so it shouldn’t be auto turning on your cam at all :>

another vtuber did some experiments and it the "knocking" feature only utilities that it has perms for. it doesn't automatically activate your webcam unless you already have browser perms set as such

I don't get it. Your Webcam is already on when running vtuber. There's no stream input for the actual camera, it comes directly from the software.
