Oh, that has definitely become an abscess. Possible staph. Covering it might have helped create a better environment for growth. When really bad, you could even lose bone density there!

I had those when I turned 29. Spironolactone 50mg twice a day and doryx200 daily finally got rid of them for good. I am 43 and still doing great.

The second it start to swell u need to see a doc. Infections can get out of hand really easily and it's never a fun experience.

I used to get spots like that when I was younger, they called them carbuncle’s in the uk. I was asked once if it had its own postcode!! It’s awful xx

So lots of opinions out here but a doctor is going to tell you what’s wrong. For myself I had this happen to me, it ended up being a staff infection and I spent a couple days in the hospital

Toner was never a good idea on was is essentially a tiny wind, and then covering it so no air can get to if created infection
