September 2024 Reading Recap 📚🎉 September was a month of getting back into the swing of things with homeschool beginning, soccer season, back to our routines, and more. It was a slower reading month for me, and nothing truly blew me out of the water, but I had a couple that will stick with me. Seven Summers was my first book by Paige Toon and it won’t be my last. The Life Council was a solid nonfiction choice about friendship, and the Teacher was a shocking thriller with tons of twists and turns. We also loved the series ender of The One and Only Family to conclude the Katherine Applegate series about Ivan the gorilla. For October, I’m going to be focusing on all the spooky things, thrillers, ghosty/witchy rom coms and some nonfiction history and poetry. What was your favorite read in September? What’s on your list for October? Books Read: 8 Print: 5 Audio: 3 Fiction: 7 Non-Fiction: 1 Literary Fiction: 1 Romance: 1 Thriller: 2 Historical Fiction: 2 Children’s: 1 4.5 Star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 Seven Summers by Paige Toon 4 Star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Teacher by Freida McFadden The Life Council by Laura Tremaine The One and Only Family by Katherine Applegate 3.5 Star ⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 My Brilliant Friend by Elena Ferrante The Great Divide by Christina Henríquez The Whispers by Ashley Audrain 3 Star ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Rednecks by Taylor Brown #popcornbookclub #septemberreading #septemberbooks #summerreading #beachreads #monthlybookwrapup #goodreads #bookrecs #2024readingchallenge #bookstagram #BookTok #bookreviews #bookratings #bookworm #romancebooks #bookstoread #ecclecticreader #historicalfiction #thrillerbooks #nonfictionbooks #childrensliterature #middlegradebooks #bookstagrammer #momswhoread #readingrecap #booksbooksbooks #bookrecommendations #booklover #readersofinstagram
