And image metadata can be edited or just wiped by resaving the image in other formats and such.

Photography has this problem LONG before AI. It's very easy to make images lie, and always has been.

wait this isn't made on device though right, there's no way it has that kind of power. And if it's done through Google's servers any device should be able to do this, once they open it up.

also by screen capturing the photo it erases the AI metadata. so going forward on the future will never know whether a photograph is truly real or not
