I’ve been tempted but did exercise and sensible eating instead. Took 6 months but lost the 4stones I needed to lose. It’s hard but more sensible to do it the right way

That list of side affects is just the start of it? 😩 Even if the surgery goes well, it can go seriously wrong later down the line and there’s little help for when it does? 🙁

I saw a lady in hospital recently who had a similar problem couldn’t eat or drink after gastric sleeve done on the NHS it’s not just turkey it happens here too it’s just not broadcast everywhere

Always research your company and surgeons before you go for surgery here. Dont go for cheapest price. I’m over 2 years sleeve surgery form turkey and fine 🥰

I work in the NHS and don’t think this doesnt happen in the uk! I traveled to turkey for mine as uk was too expensive. Fantastic care/aftercare and 6 months on not one issue 💪🏽

I went to Apera in SAW and they were amazing, the hospital was 5 star! There’s risks in any country, Turkish staff were amazing and I have the smallest scars & my after care was amazing

When I had my sleeve surgery in Turkey, I had loads of paperwork to sign and go through. I have regular communication post op. Cannot fault it. Any surgery can go wrong. You never see success stories!

What I’m finding interesting about these reports it vital they raise awareness, but are they going to show joint other surgeries done abroad gone wrong such as joint replacement or gallbladder removal
