We celebrate keti koti in a lot of different ways. It’s a big celebration day in the Netherlands and in Suriname . We celebrate it with music and food. We remember and thank the enslaved ancestors ⬇️

🇸🇷🇸🇷🇸🇷🇸🇷 Thanks For sharing this. i used to celebrate it by Party and walking in traditional clothes. now I am also wearing traditional and african clothes every time the whole year and eat our tradional food. and beside that i dont go to party Because i Find it commercial so i stay in my house and Celabrate it with my family indoor and pray and praise my ancestors

Keti Koti is in the middle of uni exams.😭 So ever since I graduated I start by not going to work and if the weather isn't too bad I go to Amsterdam for the festivities.
