Mine depends. During the day she will bark. At night, it’s a low growl or stealthy. I told her yesterday ( when I almost tripped over her laying on the staircase) I’m going to break a leg one day

YES! My black gsd rarely ever barks! My Labrador barks at anyone that comes up, but our gsd is quiet. She is like a ninja 😂
