can i ask what are those autism susceptibility genes? like how did ppl found the specific genes related to that? aren't they various and hard to track? how do you know a gene is related to autism?

I may have missed some stuff, but what genes are you looking at specifically and are they implicated in other mental health conditions? From my experience it is difficult to pinpoint behavioural genes
