You can upload a full resolution JPEGs to Instagram, and I guarantee you the quality will be great. Sure there’s compression, but the quality is the same as all the extra work you’re doing here.

Why do you export to jpeg? Jpeg gets compressed even at the highest settings. BMP and PNG don’t get visible compression
