@annykaly: Nussecken 🤎🌰 German Nussecken are a classic fall or christmas treat and so delicious! And with this recipe easy to make at home!! Made with buttery shortbread, a sweet apricot jam layer, and a caramelized hazelnut topping, these mini nut bars are my favorite and a hit all year round.🤎 Here’s how you make it: For the shortbread dough: 125g soft butter 100g sugar 2 eggs 1 package vanilla sugar (7g) 300g plain flour 1 1/2 tsp baking powder 3 tbsp Apricot jam For the nut topping: 170g soft butter 80g brown sugar 40g honey 1 package vanilla sugar (7g) 200g grounded almonds 200g chopped hazelnuts Mix together all the ingredients for the cake base until combined. Press the shortbread dough into the prepared baking pan. It should be evenly distributed. With a fork prick all over and then spread a layer of apricot jam on top. Add the sugar to the soft butter and mix well. Then add the nuts and vanilla sugar. I use a mixture of ground almonds and finely chopped hazelnuts. Note: ground hazelnuts are the most authentic. But you can also use ground almonds or a mixture of both. Mix the nuts into the butter-sugar mixture, then add honey, mix and then spread it evenly over the apricot jam layer. Bake for 20 minutes at 180°C. Cut while it’s warm. But let it cool down completely, before removing it from the baking tray and then dipping the corners in chocolate. #nussecken #nutcorners #autumnbaking #aestheticfood #fallbaking #fallaesthetic #einfacherezepte #EasyRecipes #kawaiifood #einfachbacken #holidaybaking #nutcake #autumnrecipes #BakeWithMe #winterrecipes #easybaking #fallvibe #cinnamonsugar #EasyRecipe #fallbaking #cozyfood #herbstrezepte #fallrecipes #backen
