@missclairebenjamin: ⭐️ I know it’s easier said than done. Things often feel so personal. The truth is taking things personally can make us feel really low and bad about ourselves. We can still acknowledge to ourselves that someone’s behaviour has hurt us or caused offence. It’s important to sit with our own feelings and show ourselves compassion. What we must learn to do is not make other people’s behaviour mean something about us. If someone is mean or unkind they are likely battling with their own demons- or they’re emotionally unhealthy! Either way it’s about them not you. ✨ 💬 How do you stop yourself taking the behaviour of others personally?
