I don’t understand why they want to wait. Wouldn’t it be better to go on and take care of it or do they need to watch it to see how/if it grows to treat it best?

Stage 4 MD Anderson patient here. There was a new small potential lesion in my brain that we decided to watch and 10 weeks later it wasn’t on my scans anymore.

You need a PET scan to see if it uptakes sugar if it does then it is cancerous if not you are fine. The liver is a very vascular organ and spots and “lesions” show up and can be absolutely nothing

I am so happy you’re so positive. I don’t wanna scare you , my husband has 2 cm lesions in 4 month 12 cm tumor. Please just go for second opinion. Please 🙏 🙏🙏. His liver doctor was Cedar Sinai.

Every my mom had a small spot i had to fight to get them to treat it now rather than when it got bigger/more difficult. Totally understand your frustration.
