It depends on the gender of the noun before it, not of the person! Ex. Person=persona (f) so “una persona no binaria” BUT code (like computer codes)=código (m) so “un código binario”

Most languages with masculin and feminine endings also ha e a neutral ending. I don't speak Spanish, though. So I don't know if they do.

It depends on the gender of the word used as the sentence’s subject! “person” is feminine so it would be “la persona no binaria” but “individual” is masculine so “el individuo no binario”
