The stuff inside the crab shell might not be for everyone, but it’s liquid gold me. The best part of the crab! Recipe  •7-8 lbs or 4 whole crabs (cooked) •1/2 stick butter •1/4 cup crab paste  •1 tablespoon tamarind seasoning (knorr) •2 tablespoon sugar •2 tablespoon fish sauce ( 3 crabs brand)  Different fish sauce required different measurements  •1 teaspoons msg( optional) •1 teaspoon black pepper  •1/2 tablespoons garlic powder  •1/2 tablespoons onion powder  •2 tablespoon chopped garlic •1 cup onion •1 cup green onion  •1/4 cup ginger( thinly sliced) •Slice jalapeño optional  •Mix 1 cup water to 3 tablespoons cornstarch and set aside  •Mix 1 cup water with 2 tablespoons wet tamarind and set aside. Once dissolved remove the seeds.  1•Open crab and remove all the crab butter in the shell and on the crab.  2•Use a small spoon to remove it and put in a bowl.  Set aside.  3•Cut crab into 3 pieces each side. Continue until all done Continue with the other one. 4•In a wok or a big pot add butter, garlic and ginger. When garlic turn light golden add jalapeños and onion. 5•Add crab paste and fry for 10-15 seconds.  6•Add crab butter, garlic powder, onion powder, sugar, msg, ground pepper, tamarind powder and fish sauce.  7•Add tamarind mixture and bring to a lower simmer.  8•Add in cornstarch mixture. Continue to let it simmer until sauce thicken. Taste and adjust  9•Add in green onion and crab.  10•Completely coated the crab with the sauce and enjoy 😊  If you’re using precooked crab from the market. Make sure to reheat it before using.  If you prefer a little more sourness and saltiness.
