I’ve tried a LOT of camera apps over the years so in this series I want to share some of my favs and hopefully you’ll find some gems!  1. Moment: This has been my go-to manual camera app for years now as the default iPhone camera sucks (which is wild considering how good the hardware is) Moment gives you full control of all your essentials like shutter speed. ISO, white balance, lenses, EV etc and also gives you full flexibility on what file formats you want.  The best part is it works for photo and video!  2. IIWII (It is what it is): So the name could use some work but this has become my favourite film emulation app lately. It’s packed with some awesome filters/recipes including some of Fuji’s most popular. It also lets you upload your own LUT’s and use them when taking photos which I love. You get control over the lenses, filters, portrait mode and even JPEG + RAW which a lot of these apps don’t offer so that’s a huge plus for anyone who’s likely to want to edit the photos down the line. 3. Kino: This one is pretty new for me as I’m a die-hard Blackmagic App user but after a lot of recommendations I decided to give it a try. Overall it’s really nice, well laid out and has all the settings and adjustments you could need as well as things like histograms, grid, level etc. Like BM, it gives you some inbuilt LUT’s and also lets you add your own. Only downside is it is £9.99 (Not a bad price at all, but a tough argument when BM is free 🤷🏻‍♂️)
