Dry off with a dry rag first … then spray bottle of water … dry again with rag. I do it in the garage.

We use a flea comb to get all the little grass pieces off and then do the same rinse in the sink! But combing out the pieces helps !!

I have the same problem with my dog , we use rubber dog boots they come in all different sizes you can find them at Petco and PetSmart
