Licking is a naturally calming canine behavior and can help keep your pup relaxed. Remember, only advance to the next step if your dog is comfortable. Step one: start by touching your dog’s ear. If they tolerate this, give them a few licks of the toy. Step two: gently flap their ear back and show them one of the wipes. Pause for some more licks. Step three: dab the wipe gently to the inside of their ear. Lick time. Finally, use the wipe to clean their ear, being careful not to go into the ear canal.
