I personally am not that touchy feely as a latina, but it's common to kiss on the cheek as greetings and farewells. People here are more open in their affections.

i have a Filipino partner and it's the same for them first time i saw her friends hug her and kiss her cheeks i shocked and got mad😂but then i realized it's just their affection

in my country we call "mi amor" ( my love)to, for example a waiter or a cashier, but it doesn't mean I love you, more like I appreciate your service🤷

In parts of the U.S., like where I’m from, we greet everyone with a hug and give cheek kisses to close family and friends. We also walk arm in arm sometimes, regardless of gender.

as a brazilian, hugging or kissing in the cheeks are normal enogh to the point that is strange not to do... when someone dont this we think thwt he/she is having a bad day or dont like us

This is so true. I used to work in restaurant in itaewon and my boss would think I have many boyfriends 😂 I had to explain to her, but I'm pretty sure she didn't believe me. 😂

in my country, we greet people we know (family/friends) with kisses on the cheek but is cheek with cheek but for it may be too much physical contact for certain cultures 😄

No solamente en Latam, en occidente en general es así, obviamente los latinoamericanos somos más afectuosos. Y si no conocemos a la persona aunque sea saludamos en ascensor, bus etc..
