in Germany it's mostly beta carotin fed directly to cows and hens eggs and milk get the yellow coloring and no problems with "additives" 😅

I worked at an ice cream factory. Anatto was an ingredient we would put into the liquid ice cream before it was injected into the mold, before its dipped in chocolate coating.

Interesting! I was trying to figure out if the empanada discs with annatto tasted any different, but since I've had it in orange cheese, I can say that they won't. haha Thank you!
