For new crops and forage items: Save them up until you have three. Keep one, sell one, and donate one to the museum. Never fails.

i dont like farming sims but with how relaxed this one has been I'm loving it. i dont feel rushed or worried I'll not make enough money or grow the right crop for the season. like i do with stardew

omg thank you for the seed tip! I planted a regrowing seed in the wrong spot and couldn't figure out how to dig it up (in hindsight, is makes perfect sense LOL) so I just restarted the day 🤦♀️

My chickens walk through the fences? I tried sectioning off an area for them to graze around their coop and they just walk right over them.
