They dont have to be sewn but it is absolutely beneficial to sew a suit.

totally glued fursuits don’t last super long, however. the sun or too much heat can cause the glue to remelt and destroy the suit, so it’s good for quick cosplay solutions, but not fursuits

For BODYSUITS, you kinda… have to sew them… unless it’s to foam. Fabric to fabric ONLY has nothing else to anchor off of and it’ll fall apart eventually

while YES hotgluing everything does work, it just wont hold up as good at all. repairs are gonna be needed more consistently
