I think they had argument over something sentimental like betrayal or rejection, got into a fight, but neither of them wanted to actually harm each other so when they had enough hits alastor dipped.

My main thing is at the end of the song where Vox litteraly whines cause Alastor is getting serious, he would not gaf if he knew he could beat Alastor, i think they got interrupted or a kind of draw

I think they were fighting, Alastor almost won but the other two Vees came to the rescue, won 3v1. Valentino says "almost", Alastor said Vox would be powerless without the other Vees, Vox said he won.

I think that when they were fighting, Lilith teleported him away against his will like he did to Husk, and Vox took it that Alastor ran away. They didn’t see each other for seven years afterwards. 😁
