While surgery was life saving, it left me with pounds of excess skin. Skin on my arms, back, waist, hips, butt, thighs, stomach. So, sometimes what you see is that skin tucked into a faja or shapewear. Sometimes I’m able to conceal it pretty well & sometimes I’m not. Regardless, my body is beautiful, strong, and has transformed in a way I never thought it could. My journey isn’t over; I am working hard to save to be able to remove this skin & really start my life in the body I’ve always knew I deserved. I say all this to say: stop judging people by what you see. I don’t have to show you this. I also am only showing you to prove that you think you know, but you have NO IDEA what people have experienced. I was bullied to the point of not wanting to exist anymore when I was big. And now that I am not big, I am bullied because my body doesn’t look “normal” to you. This is why people take their own lives. Stop assuming. And if you don’t have anything nice to say well you know the rest. I’m not interested in being “tea”. I want to be fit, strong, healthy, and live a loonngg time. A lot of people have been inspired by me and my journey and my transparency about being obese. It wasn’t easy. It still isn’t. I’m still struggling with this body & how EYE see it. In conclusion, this MY page, MY body, MY story, MY journey. You may exit stage left if you don’t like or understand. I’m not asking for your understanding. It has nothing to do with you. I share and post because I’m fucking PROUD of myself. I did that. What have you done with your life? Oh.
