I’ve been in the heavy truck class 8 field for ever. You kind of forced to pay in the higher bracket for low skilled techs due to inflation. A lot of techs are even trying to improve themselves.

Paying more does not equal quality workers. Plenty of check collectors out here. Production and good performance and willingness to take in more responsibility grants you a better pay.

depends on the value of the job. 25 an hour for a 300 dollar job that takes 4 hours is fair. 25 for a 5000 job that takes 4 hours is a different story.
