It also removes some of the nuance of the two sides having competing claims because the show has given rhaenyra a prophetic motive/right to it. She knows the magic prophecy, she’s the Chosen One™️

It takes away agency from the characters. No one has free will because it’s all predestined. Did daemons visions matter did he grow? Who knows now. His motivation is divine intervention that’s it.

It’s cool to think that this prophecy is what motivated Aegon the conqueror etc but I agree w everything you said especially fr Rhaenyra .. she’s far less interesting
