I’m a fine hair medium density and I retain the most length when I straighten my hair too but straightening my hair also gives me heat damage and I want to wear my natural curls 😞

Using leave in conditioner before blow drying and using oil on my ends at the beginning and end of the day really helped my hair

Yea, I always blow out my natural hair. I won’t put the iron to it until fall/winter but stretching my hair is a must. The only way to keep it from tangling up and breaking off. And LCO always 🥰

They used to try to tell me no heat and air dry my hair… I have fine 4c medium density hair. She was a puff ball of knots. No thank you.

I had to stop detangling w those clunky brushes and only use my hands and noticed a huge difference. Those brushes are like torture devices for fine natural hair we don’t need it! 🥰

Once I started blowing at my hair every wash day most of my problems went away. Also not scared of a straightener. I don’t subscribe to the no heat rule.
