Elsewhere in the same interview — the part most people don't quote — he said the difference between average and the best in software is 50-to-1. Maybe 100-to-1. 💡 Almost nothing in life has that gap. But technology does. Which means one wrong hire into a great team can dilute everything. And one right hire into a mediocre team can't fix it.
