Here’s what you’ll need: 8 foot foam insulation board - i used the 1/4in thick but if you want to paint it, use the 0.5in thick Xacto knife or box cutter Ruler Pencil String Tack Sanding block/tool Paint of choice Here’s what you do: Measure the length of the board and find the center. Use the tack and string tied to your pencil to create and anchor point. If you need to adjust the height of your arch you can do that repositioning the tack and length of the string. Use your pencil and string to outline your arch. Carefully cut across your line with your knife/box cutter and separate the excess. If painting, peel the plastic or foil later back and paint (use a sample paint size, they cost no more than $10).
