@murdock.macabre: On August 28, 2003, pizza delivery man Brian Wells, was "lured" to a television tower in Erie, Pennsylvania to deliver an order. When he arrived, two men held him at gunpoint and forced him to put on a metal collar with a ticking time bOmb attached to it. The two men instructed Brian to rob a bank and deliver the money back to them. If he completed this task in a certain amount of time, the b mb around his neck would not detonate. Brian then went to a bank armed and demanding $250,000 USD, but only left with $10,000 and was caught by the police outside the bank. Brian begged officers to call in a b mb squad and tried to explain the situation but before the officers called in help, the bomb exploded, killing Brian. During investigation after the fact, it was revealed that the be 3mb was rigged to explode regardless of if Brian had successfully completed the task The aftermath and subsequent investigations revealed that Brian may have been in on the bank robbery plan before things took a turn.
